The Queensland Fire Department (QFD) moved to a contemporary new headquarters based in Albion, making way for QFD to be set up for future success. The new office at 240 Sandgate Rd, Albion, will bring together more than 500 QFD state level executives and corporate staff.

The new building, formerly the TAB building, underwent significant refurbishment to achieve a 5 star NABERS green office rating.

Contract Floors along with ATG and Cox Architectural completed significant slab rectification works on 8 floors, seeing over 15 tonnes of concrete poured. The projects scope also included a full internal fit out delivering renewable floor coverings in ground floor public spaces, collaborative work zones, meeting rooms and break out areas.
